Rough mulching of 10 acres of mixed bush and trees for a customer who wants to put in a pine tree plantation. The ASV RT-135 with the Prinoth mulcher doing a great job as usual! We used a DJI Air 2S drone to get some good footage for you.
Forestry mulching with our ASV RT-135 for a fence line with surveyors. The surveyors point me into the direction of the boundary and I am mulching the way for them through thick, 5 metre high vegetation, tea tree, grasses, trees. Brush control at it's finest! Mulching with the Kubota Tractor and Nobili Mulcher.
The paddock has been unused for 30 years, so it was disked 3 times and then in went the green manure crop before winter. Now, mulched down to be disked straight back into the ground to help bring the soil back to life.
Our ASV RT-135, mulching through flood debris for a client. This property in Pelverata (Tasmania) was affected by recent floods and other contractors had piled up the trees, fencing etc. into five large piles. We pulled it all apart with the excavator, sorted through it and mulched up the trees, branches, vegetation and stumps.
The owner of this beautiful property also asked us to level up the ground so it would be nice and flat and bring the remains of the fence, scrap metal, polypipe and other debris to the waste transfer station. The ASV RT-135 with the Prinoth mulcher is doing a great job as usual!
This time, we used a DJI Air 2s drone for the before and after shots and our new GoPro Hero 11 for views from the cab.
It is not recommended to get to close to the ASV RT-135 with the Prinoth mulcher when in operation - it can spit chips for several metres!

Forestry mulching in Lune River, almost the most southern point of Australia. Heaps of tea tree to get through and dance around gum trees, so the owners could get more room.

We have been working on a big job in Deep Bay since the beginning of the year in the Huon Valley in Tasmania. The property is 150 acres big and used to be a pine plantation. There are still huge, 30 metre wide, rows of pines. The pines are growing out of old stumps and are not very thick at the base, but about 15-18 metres tall. There is also a lot of gorse to get through and smaller stuff, that we mulched with our tractor. In this video you will see gorse being mulched, we'll get to the pine trees in the next one!
